AIR Pump removal????

I have a turbo II and i was wondering - DOES MY BABY REALLY NEED THIS?
So.. does the fc turbo need the air pump and if i can take it off what do i need to do this.
Oh and i was also wondering if i can take my a/c off and still keep my Power ysteering pump. I already took the a/c belt off but i want baby to loose some weight.

im guessing you removed/gutted the cats? otherwise on airpump will clog them. just get a down pip for it and call it good.

You list your location as "Southern California", which means you need to pass SMOG.
So, YES, you DO NEED IT!

Uhmmm.. So Cal sucks with its laws but as long as i dont get cuaght rite?!?! lol, i got a crazy single exhuast set up - 3" rb dp, rb presilencer, to a huge HKS dragger exhuast. My baby roars and uhm cost me a pretty penny to get it smogged. I also plan to get rid of ALL emission related crap but im still pretty new with the s5 turbo and dont want to mess anything up. So anyone knows a good site to buy block off plates????

I bought block off plates off of the guy on ebay and they were awsome!
and with that settup and your exhaust get rid of the Air Pump not doing anything with out the cat hooked up.

I would recommend 2751 Engineering if you want the block off plates. I ordered from them to get the plates for my NA S4. Got them in a few days.
