My air pump went bad the other day so I took it out and by passed it, it runs good but I just wanted to ask u guys if that was bad cause I have never seen a stock second gen n/a with out the air pum

what year is it? 86-88? or 89-91?
without the airpump feeding oxygen into your cat, you will melt it (the cat). and if your car is an s5 (89-91) your 5th and 6th ports will not function

 

its an s5 with no cat

 

ok, the only problem you will have then is 5th and 6th intake ports not functioning. if anything, wired them all the way open so you only lose torque instead of high-end power.

 

ok, how do I know that they r open or not cause I dont feel any difference on power, may be they have never been open
