Air/Fuel % - What does it mean?

On my SAFC I still haven't been able to figure out what the measurement of Airfl% on the SAFC means.

I suppose it could actually mean Air FLOW... meaning how much air is coming in... but what would it be a % of? And it ranges from 1%-~45% (I think).

Anyone know what this reading is for?

The S-AFC works by changing the AFM signal to make the car think it's getting more air then it actually is, so it's not actually changing fuel %'s directly. AFM reads how much air is coming in, so theres your %.

Push the afm plunger in all the way and see if it reads 100percent. I believe it will.

Eh, I'm so not pulling my airbox off today but thanks for the suggestion Hailers! lol... it's freakin HOT outside and I finished changing the oil and doing a little "tuning" with the safc by just reading off my stock o2 sensor... I pulled it out to -13% above 5k and it STILL READS WAY RICH! Color me shocked... not gonna risk leaning it more and more, this wasn't under load so I don't know what effect that would have and I don't want to risk it especially with the stock sensor... goes from "Oh yeah you're waaay rich" to "Ah, the sweet sound of detonation." with nothing inbetween.

So if I was to get a cone filter this would theoretically be kind of a good way to tell if the amount of air I can pull in is actually increased by a cone filter right? (This is of course ignoring air temp which is of course important... but I just mean volume of air)
