So I got my new K&N airfilter and adapter in the mail today, I installed everything easily....my question....what do I do about the air pump hose that is just hanging there now that was connected to the stock air box before....do I put a little filter thing on it or just let it sit there....any info would be great...thanks...Z
or......take off the airpump and get a new exhaust system without a cat, and than an ACV block off, and you will no longer need the filter. Replacing the cat with a straight pipe will net some hp gains. Make sure it is legal though in your area first.
its the same thing, if you dont mind having some household/feminine materials under your hood, they do the same thing as a cotton/paper filter, just basically keep big chunks of crap from going in yourhose.

Go with the breather filter beside another other obvious reasons it gives people who don't know rotarys sumthin to ask about, they think they are seeing a filter on an alternator or sumthin lol
