Question Air conditioning light blinking?

The AC light on the dash is blinking when I try to turn it on, so a few questions.

I am reading that a blinking light on several other newer Mazdas is the computer that controls the AC is trying to turn a fan on, but because it is not there, is why it is blinking, where would this connector be located? I am running a megasquirt, it will be controlling electronic fans, but now I need to feed a single in so it knows when the AC is turned on to idle up.

New pressure sender on line - are its plugs directional? They are just spade connectors.

Not directional. It's just a switch.

Thanks that is what I thought.

Any other ideas on what causes the AC light on the dash to blink?

I am going to remove the compressor this weekend, and completely change out the glycol lubricant, and turn it with a drill to make sure it is sealing and pumping before I close it back up and run the vacuum pump for a few hours again.

I think the switch grounds the AC relay(s). So, check the contact resistance at the switch, check the relays and lastly check the Logicon for possible cold solder joints. This link to wiring diagram might help: http://www.wright-here.net/files/man...ingDiagram.pdf

Thanks for your help.

I believe I found the issue, PEBKAC.

Aas I mentioned in the OP, I am running megasquirt. It has the cabibility of raising the idle when the AC is kicked on. It just requires two things, the input and output wires need to be connected (forgot one) and the settings in the ECU need to be activated (whoops)

Issue that I am dealing with now is while running the fan because I was trying to fill the AC system up, it seems the blow fan burnt out, so now I need to look at that now.
