AHHHH still going nuts......

Ok so i know about the start up and that the car will go through its start up process and then you can drive it. NOT A PROBLEM. here is were there is............

Car is a 88 na rx7 100% stock its exactly the way it is from the factory and nothing has ever been changed execpt the oil filter till i got it. I will say what later.

Start the car, Car goes up to 3k and then dies even when started in gear. Start car again goes up to 3k holds and then goes to 1k and dies. Start car again goes up to 3k goes to 1k almost stalls and goes back to normal idle. wait 1-5 mins. Press Gas car almost stalls and then hesitates for a second and then goes up on the revs. Every time i tap the gas it always dips and then goes up. Then I have to get the engine warmed up for about 20 mins before i can even drive it anywhere by keeping it reved at 3k. During this process the car will tipically blow out white smoke. If i drive it the car will STALL and die. after its fully warmed up about 20mins + the car will finally run right and continue to run right for the majority of the day unless i leave it alone for some time and then it goes through that process for half the time.

Now for what I have replaced:

Spark Plugs
Fuel Filter
Fuel Sock
and have run injector cleaner through it 4 times

Anyone have any idea whats up with this thing. I also get a popping sound from within the engine if i rev the car during the first time.
Tonight I just took off the intake filter and notice a very pure black goo on the filter sides and underneath the filter in the actual box. Its very sticky and as i said pure black not brown. any ideas on that? The filter looks like the original one that came with the car from the factory..........

If anyone is in Raleigh NC I will not start the car tomorrow if you can come give me an idea to what it is? PM ME PLEASE

MY WIFE is afraid to drive the damn car because of this........ car sits except for the times when i feel ballzy.

Hows you air filter? Ummm, maybe the AWS (accelerated warm up system) is bad...doubt thats the problem because it does rev to 3000 rpm like it should.
Hope those who are more knowledgeable than me can help man.

black goo on the air filter? That's messed up man! If that's getting sucked into your engine that can't be a good thing. What did the plugs look like when you pulled em? Sorry I can't help, but my curiosity is peaked. Hopefully someone will chime in.
