Getting Molding off?

How do you get the side moldings off? more specifically the little tiny piece between the drivers door and the back wheel well. Car is an S5 if that matters, thanks

Inside the wheel well the moldings are held on with 2 snap clips use your fingers or pair of pliers. The ones on the door are adhesive on.

ok, well I went and checked and could find no way to any clips in the wheel well
there is something covering where the clips would be and so far as I can tell no way to get that piece off....The car is also a vert if that makes a difference

if its the one between the door and wheel well you just use a skinny screwdriver and *carefully* pry at it....
the rear pieces you can access the clips from under the car but taht small piece you cant get to the back of them

and i guess the ones ive pulled them off are a fluke too seeing that the 2 cars ive gotten them off of were the same thing he said......theres a piece of sheet metal in the way...

hes referring to the really small trim between the door and the rear fender well....
the rest of the trim you can easily access but that piece is a no go

Nope they are fully accessible from underneath the car. The only possibility is the S5 model is covered and in most cases then you would access it from inside under the wheel tub.

Trust me, no S5's in shop right now to verify on S5 however all S4 models are guaranteed accessible from under neath the rear fender. If you have arrow peaces remove them. The strip in the rear of the panel the front of panel is adhesive on again on S4 if it clips on S5 it would be accessible from inside the car under the plastic trim and thing piece of sound deadening stick your hand in between the panel from the B pillar.

We are talking side moldings here as he said moldings. These are also known as rub strips and he is referring to the rear quarter panel but theres nothing in between the door and the rear fender because theres no rear fenders on rx7's :-)

ok sorry there is no rear "fender" but it is a rear wheel well and if you read the post which 99% of the people on here dont seem to read he was talking about an S5
since you pissed me off enough abuot it i went out to my garage and took some pics of it as living proof
youll see in the first pic the area of trim we are referring to so that way to avoid any confusion on your ends
then there are pics of the inside of the rear wheel well showing you that there absolutely is no access to the trim from there
the last picture shows from inside the car down this little tiny hole you could possibly access the tabs but your finger would need to be like 10" long and even then i doubt you would be able to do anything with the tabs
so like i said the only real way to remove it was with a screwdriver

The next strip back reach your hand up it. The strip in front you picture just pry it off it pops out why I addressed the molding further up last post first post is reference to the next one back.. :-/ The only moldings you need to go clippy removey on is the front fenders and under marker light rear quarter

once again like i said:

READ THE POST!

this was the original post at the start of the thread
he only asked about the one section of molding which is the one i took pictures of
yes the rest of them you can get access to
but if you took 30 seconds to read thing you would know what was actually going on

Go to an automotive paint supply shop or napa or something.... they'll have this thing called a TRIM REMOVAL TOOL.. get this.. its really good at REMOVING TRIM...

Works great. I used it on mine. Works great for areas where you can't get to the back of the clips.

Well since the upper molding pops right out as everyone now stated when asking a ? about the clippy thing the only one left is the one I referred to with two clippy things. is that not correct? So I took educated initiative on his question. Phearthe-Rx7 sorry if that confused you. It's 10:50 I think I am going to get a pop tart and go build an engine I am board :-/
