ahhh electrical problem!!!
my friend n i just installed my new koyo radiator in my 88 vert
went to turn the car on n then boom, no start
to find that the battery is dead and then started to charge it
so then when im done charging it we put it back in,
here comes the problem...
i can turn on my lights adjust the gauges dim levels and lights come on to the doors and to the slider things where u adjust the a/c, and to the headrest speakers, but this only turns on when i turn the lights on
i then go into the car put in the key n turn it to acc n nothing turns on except for that annoying beep
i check the fuses everything is ok so it seems, is the btn relay (80A) relay suppose to have a split in the middle of the arch??)
i get no response from the starter when i turn the key, no power gets to my cd player or the airconditiong...
could this be a bad grounding??

No. The BTN fuse should not have a break in it. Swap a fuse in place of it and see what happens. Maybe use the Headlight fuse instead.
If nothing happens, then look below the engine fuse box for a black wire with a single connector on its end. It would be about six to nine inches below the fuse box. That wire feeds the ignition switch.
But it sounds like you have blown the BTN fuse and maybe some others.

sorry i was looking at the wrong fuse......(hit self in the head)
i figured the BTN fuse couldnt be blown, its wierd idk if its like this with others but my fuse just looks like two simple connectors connected with a gage wrapped in some protectant cloth
i just rechecked all the fuses, everything seems to be fine inside and outside fuses except for the fuse that turns the car on, the only 5 fuse thats in the fuse box, i replaced that one
if it helps...the door lights come one when the doors are open, yet none of the lights go to the idiot lights to illuminate them like theyre suppose to, its like the car is stuck in a half way turning on position or something

If the main fuse (80 amp) is blown, you probably hooked up the battery backwards. If you are lucky you just blew the fuse, if you are unlocky, you blew most of the electrical in the car.

If you disconnected the black wire I remarked about earlier, you would get things like the headlight, but nothing will happen when the key is turned to ON or START. That black wire feeds the ignition key.
You were working in the area where the black wire with the single spade connector exists.

But once you hooked everything up correctly you should be able to crank the car

man, i found the problem
i followed the lines that come from the engine fusebox into the harness n followed it to where it got near the engine, i guess the 17 year old electrical tape gave away n frayed some of the wires...so i fixed that n bam the car started up n purred like a kitten :-) thanx for all your help
