After the AE overrated page, thought I'd try to sway some votes... (not 56k friendly)

Hopefully these will show you how awesome the 10AE was and always will be

Nobody said the 10th AE was anything other then awsome! its just that some seem to suffer greatly at the hands of fools.

Oh I know, sometimes you just have to show off though

And finally... The mirror image, gotta love it.

While on the topic, can anybody tell me what kind of splash guards are on my car? I've always wondered it but never posted a picture as to ask.

n4ji, I noticed you had the emblem as your avatar.

Could you post an extreme closeup of the emblem? Please?

AE - slightly heavier (compared to other same year T2s). white normal T2 wheels.. white typical S4 tail lights. annoying leather seats. slightly different steering wheel. random badges.
hey, we dont need no stinkin badges.. (how overused is that??)
beautiful car, but could be debatably overrated. though i hear little praise of its greatness, so i havent had to argue its 'worth.' oh, and the side moldings and rear mazda and RX7 logos are white *gasp!*
its just another pretty rx7 to me.

hmm.. I think we need a thread of here to disprove the fact that 10AE's are in rough shape..

Saying the AE is over/under-rated is like saying a TII is over/under-rated. It's the same thing except the little things and it was a limited production run. Is it special? Sure it is! Is it special? Nope!

Here's the emblem, the server crapped out on me earlier. When I referred to the 'mirror image,' this was supposed to be it.

Kevin, I got my tax check the other day, now all I need is my father's approval and I'll be sending you the money for the S5 rims!

In the previous thread, it was mentioned several times that of all the various models of Rx-7's, 10Ae's tend to be abused, dented, rusted, paint flaked etc... I figured It would be nice to show that there were some nice examples of 10ae's that havn't met the same fate as the examples cited by others in the other thread

You better believe it! The guy who originally bought the car took wool seat covers to the dealer the day he bought it... therefore the leather has never been sat on except for me! He treated it every year and then immediately put the seat covers back on. Incredible, huh?

No, the windows were bronze tinted for sure, and the mud guards were an option I think?
