AFR's on the dyno (not 56k friendly)

AFR's on the dyno (not 56k friendly)

Ok, I just got off of the dyno and I have some strange results. I have a dead stock 88TII that I was running for baselines. My AFR's from the tailpipe hit 11 around 3k and drop to 10 and lower during the pull. This seems extremely rich to me, but then again, I have never dyno'd a stock TII. Has anyone else seen AFR's this low on an S4 TII in stock trim?

I'll post a pic when I can figure out how.



I figured out how.



This was one of my better runs, the others are literally sitting at 10.0 in the higher powerband.

Anyone have any thoughts?

Would be nice if there was boost pressure datalogged in

Yeah looks about right, its stock; longevity is the main concern

yea seems normal and safe. i wouldn't worry about it and if your car is truly bone stock then your numbers are good and i'd say you have a healthy setup to start with

I have about 120k miles on this motor, and boost was a steady 5.5 across the board from about 4k to redline. This was from me staring at my boost gauge during the runs.

the power line on that dyno indicates a smooth fuel ratio not jiving with the AFR, in my opinion i wouldn't trust their AFR gauge.

Yeah, I got the exhaust in today. The Haltech will be coming soon.

Yeah Karack, those AFR's look weird to me also. I'll use a new wideband next time.

his AFR's are at approx. 11.3:1 too 10:1....

mine's tuned for 11.7:1

i'm in trouble arent i....
