If its a Faze AFR gauge rip it out and stomp on it, its crap, if its not what kind it is would help in helping you greatly. I would have no idea on anyother gauges but im sure someone here will. And if thats the dumbest question you ever post on the internet your my ideal theres sites i wont even return to cause i got joked on so bad when i first got into cars.

As much as i know with my very limited knowledge a wideband is good, you just need to find out what the air to fuel ratio should be at in your car and then figure out at what point on the gauge thats at and make sure it stays about there, someone else should know exactly, forgive me if im wrong, HELP!!!!! There isn't much reading to do. If its under 14.7 its rich and if its over its lean. If its around that, you're in closed loop. Should hang in the 11-12 range under boost. Should read "lean" when you are off throttle. Its really that simple until you start datalogging.

thanks man that cleared up alot for me. The seller says that at 10psi the gauge reads 11-12 and at 15 psi its about the same but will hold low 10's to red line. Does this sound like a "safe" reading?

yep, the lower the number, the richer it is. and the richer it is, the "safer" it is.
