Steering Wheel Tilt Addon

hi, i want to know if i can add a tilt function to the 86 rx7 or if i can only do a quick release hub. i want to make it easier to get in and out and to make the ride more comfortable by being able to adjust the wheel. can you add the tilt or is it too hard. in which case ill just go with a quick release

The car should have a tilt column from the factory. It doesn't allow that much movement but it should tilt...actually raise and lower slightly may be more appropriate.

I dont see why you would not be able to add tilt. All you need to do is replace the steering column. Then swap your ign switch to the tilt column, and then put on the right column surrond plastic. Should be an easy swap.
(btw, I have a spare tilt column if you want to buy it).
PM me.

you could probably drop some washers in between where the steering column bolts to under the dash.. then use some longer bolts.. That would lower it..

I was tempted to do the conversion myself but it didnt seem like alot of movement.

the tilt doesn't really make it go up any higher, just makes it go down more.
