Well that really makes me feel better!!! I'm almost 99% sure I messed up my AFM. And I was just trying to see if the car would start up with out it. And it doesn't, so I'm just trying to make sure something else isn't wrong with the car!!! I've been a week 3 days with out my car and it really sucks!! Xterra's are comfortable but there is nothing like driving an FC!!

Crap!! Well I my pulsation dampner went out so I ended getting my injectors cleaned and hgot a banjo bolt. I ended up changing the vacuum hoses, and put a new gasket on and cleaned my motor. Well in the process I sprayed down my Afm with throttle body cleaner really bad. So i started her up and instantly the car ran like it had no power!! There were no vacuum leaks, the car was idling like as 300rpm. So my dum *** thought there was a leak maybe from injectors, or not enough pressure so i took everything off and made sure the injectors were correctly plugged into harness, then once more i sprayed down the afm!! and now it wont start at all!! So im guessing i f*** the afm up!!

It sounds just like it would normally start up, it just never catches.

If it fires up fine then dies, then you most likely screwed up the afm. If determined that is your problem, I've got an s5 AFM for sale, it thats what you need.

Simple.

Disable the fuel pump by disconnecting it's plug at the fuel pump.

Buy a can of Starter Fluid. Spray no more than three seconds into the intake snorkel (prior to the afm).

Start the car. If it starts and then dies each time you spray/start, then there's something wrong with the fuel system.

IF it does not start, then it isn't fuel that's giving you problems.

The only thing diffrent in my fuel system other than the banjo bolt mod are the cleaned injectors, and from what i hear the primaries and secondaries are the same.

There should be resistance checks in the FSM/Haynes manual for it. You'll need a DVOM or something equivalent to do them. Maybe the car is just really badly flooded? Have you tried to unflood it yet?

When will people learn that you can find what you need to know (percent of the time):

93% FSM
97% Searching
34% Outside Pages (Aaroncake, Rotaryressurection, etc.)
49% Haynes Manual

Yes, that's over 100%. Yes, I meant to do that.
