Like a complete MUPPET, I put the AFM, that I removed from the car, BACK onto the shelf with the rest of my parts and now can't figure out WHICH AFM is which.
So MINUS the sticker (which, in my case, are worn away), how can you identify the different AFMs, in question? Only thing I HAVE noticed is that one has a 'bullet' that is more pointy than the other...

That's what I'm asking, but the number is found on a sticker and NEITHER of these guys have a readable number.
The S5 Tii is N370, and was wondering if it has more of a cone, versus the domey one, since I can't read a number. Once I get a good answer, I'll MARK the sucker.

n370 rear

n370 front

still all a little inconclusive by the pics
but i would suspect the NA one will make the full signal at lesser airflows
so i would expect that result is a richer running car down low that only comes good at high airflows beyond the limits of 180 HP's worth of air
running off that theory i would say the sharper bullet moves less with the same airflow= turbo

Hey, Bump! Great to have you - and your help - back!
So my N370 is the more DOMED one, one the more CONED one?
Wait... The one on your monitor has the rubbery donut, right? That should be the same as domed, not coned.

i beleive the main difference in fuel trim is a result of electronic differences, not just physical. the n/a AFM calls for much less fuel to be delivered when it's fully open compared the the turbo.

That's why I'm concerned. I have both the S5 NA and the S5 Tii AFMs. Don't wanna put the wrong one back in.
If you guys need more/ better pics, lemme know.
@Bump: The rear-ends look the same. I'm inclined to agree that the sharper cone is turbo, but wanted some verification.

methinks N370 is the pointy one
,, when fully open ( full load signal ) it allows more air through the engine than the wide cone unit
which ( the wide cone ) will obviously be pushed to its full signal position at lesser airflows
a pic at its fully open position may just nail it
