Cool Add Turbo?

I just got myself an 88 GTU. It's really fast in my opinion but I have a long list of things I want for it. A little more power would be good. I know the GTU is a turbo ready. What will I need to put on the turbo? Anyone know where I can get them cheap? Stock Turbo stuff off TII would be fine.
I could just go with intake, headers, exhaust (no cat), front and rear strut bars. That would be fine. (I don't have emmisions here )

Lol use the search button next time. Its not turbo ready, its a 6-port motor. Its got 9.4 to 1 rotors and will blow up if you boost anything higher than 8 give or take a few. Not only that there is no kits available for 6 port motors, theres a lot of custom fab work. Do yourself a favor and just buy a 4 port turbo motor and drop it in.

Thanks for the info. Sorry noob to 7's....sorta. Only owned a FB before this one. Friend said motor was turbo ready. Oh well.
Don't have enough $$ to do swap, or custom fab. I'll just go with NA power.
Anyone Know of some good products to go with for more power for an NA besides what I listed on top?

Copied directly from the FAQ:

Can I swap a Turbo engine/Jspec engine/13BT/etc into my Non Turbo?
Yes, check these links:
https://www.rx7club.com/forum/showth...threadid=26647
http://www.rotaryresurrection.com/ro...conversion.htm

How do I add a turbo to my NA 13B?
What Turbo kits can I add onto my non turbo RX-7?
There are no longer kits formally made at the time of this post, however there are companies from time to time that do make available non turbo to Turbo Kits. Because most of these companies stop building the kits, or go out of business in short time, it is impossible to keep active links for them.

Most people that turbo a non turbo make their own kits:
Using the stock TII turbo, exhaust manifold with spacer, NA intakes and NA ECU:

Now you got me confused, how does the Cat activate the 6th port? What kind of pump are you talking about?
I mean removing the Cattalic Converter. Are you talking about a diff cat???

what he means is on the main cat in these cars is an air tube air from the air punmp is pumped into this tube for emissions,

BUT on this tube is a smaller tube which runs to the 5th and 6th port actuators,
These actuaters activate from the back pressure the exhuast creats.... so remove the cats and backpressure and the system stops working( it doesnt work when stock half hte time even...)which then results in a lack of top end power.

another way to get your 5th/6th ports is to use the airpump tap a line into it the airpump line. with two valves in the new tapped line one valve will bleed to atmosphere the other will control airflow to the actuators. search for air pump 5th 6th ports mod. i did it on mine works like a charm and can work i with clutch pressed in so it will work all the time, not just in gear. this way you can go catless and still have your ports open up. its very cheap to do.
