Question add coolant?

The light and buzzer came on yesterday and would not shut up. I check the coolant levels and its full. Today the buzzer came on again but this time it would not shut up. I check the coolant and it was fine. When I ran the car with the radiator cap off, the coolant would gush out. I know thats a bad sign BUT the car has lots of power, starts right up, has never overheated, always stays at the 1/4th mark on the temp gauge, and does not smoke at all. The car has never done this. Ive had the engine running without the filler cap and the coolant would not gush out. Im stumped. Can some1 help me out? The buzzer is driving me nuts
Thanks in advance.

I now know why my coolant light/buzzer are going off. I followed the wire from the sensor and i found that it was cut. Somehow the wire got cut and now I dont know where it goes (its night time and its too cold to actually get in there and start looking for the other end). Does anyone know where the wire connects to? That way I know in what direction to look. Thanks.

It breaks out of the engine harness just under the air flow meter and the air filter. If you need more details feel free to respond.

Short term to kill the buzzer just ground the wire coming from the sensor on top of the rad - one of the headlight mounting bolts is a good place.

Wellllllllllllll, HAILERS, I don't think you do read so good - he said that "traced the wire from the sensor and found it cut" that to my comprehension of the English language says that there was a wire coming from the sensor and it was cut somewhere down it's length.
I could be wrong though, I was once - got married.
My suggestion was simply a short term solution to kill the buzzer until he could re-wire - Duh!

IANBELL ....he said he followed the wire from the sensor and found the wire cut. He could not find the other end. How was he to ground the wire and end the buzzing if he could not find the wire? Going to ground the broken wire from the sensor? I know you do not read for flip, or if you will, as you put it...*I don't think you do read so good*

Did you try removing the plastic philips plug from the pasenger side radiator neck? My car did the same thing until I removed the plug and topped up with coolant 'till it began to come out the plug hole, replace the plug and top up till the fill neck is full.
