ACV Troubles...HELP!
My car is now in the process of being converted to an emmisions friendly machine, at least for a day. I put the previously removed ACV and I am having troubles figuring out which vaccum tube gues where (the ones from the relief and switching solenoid valves) I have determined which one of the hard line is which (by blowing air and seeing where is came out
If we label the two nipples of the ACV A (closer to the engine) and B further from the engine, where would the relief and switching tube connect?
There will be more questions as I get stuff hooked up, I hoep you all can help! Like I said I am trying to pass emmisions (I failed with 869 HC shoulda been <220) silly me I rushed to get it done forgetting that I am running 1 to 100 PREMIX, I am sure that was a big part of the problem, along with the fact that my ACV may or may not be working/hooked up right I think I have a chance to make it on my second try. If that doesn't work I understand there are other methods...
Thanks in advance..

yeah, I am on that one. This question is more specific though. I specifically want to knwo how to hook up the ACV CORRECTLY, I am a little confused by the lack of description of where the two van lines are to go on hte ACV...
Passing emmisions I think I can do using the methods described by dDub in his thread...

Is this what you're talking about? Those vac lines go into the acv, the one on the RIGHT in that picture (ie the one closer to the front of the engine bay) connects to the vac line from the rats nest that is on TOP behind the engine... if that makes sense. Did that help or do I need to be more clear?

So that is the Switching solenoid line then I believe right? On my car I think this has a white(ish) connector, the relief solenoid valuve has blue and it is the one closest to the front of the engine, and in your picture it would connect to the nipple colest to the engine..
right?
right?

The switching solenoid valve should be gray and the relief solenoid valve is blue.
As for where the vac lines go it seems like you got it. In my picture, right side nipple to the vac line on top behind the engine. By top, I mean, when you look back there, right behind the engine there should be 2 hard lines from the rats nest, one on top of the other. The right hand side nipple connects to the top hard line. Hope that helps.

Thanks for your help. I couldn't remember if it was white or grey, I just checked and yup, your right. Thanks again.
BTW, you said you premixed in your other post, did you run premix during your inspection? I was thinking about going really light to get by...I have been doing 100-1 (or more, since I run hard)
