ACV questions

Which is the ACV bypass hose?
Is it the one that connects from the airpump->airbox (~6.5 inches)

Or is it up near the thing labeled "BACV"?

Which hose should I pull? I want to hear the mooing noise (yeah, I know, I'm weird)

Good evening 007....

The hose you want to pull is the one coming straight out of the acv towards you, provided you're standing on the passenger side of the car. It comes out towards ya, then turns towards the front and disapears into the fender... yank that sucker off! You're going to love the sound it makes... i sure do Let me know if ur still befuddled,

Thanks, but I still don't see it.
Well, I see something that might look right..
But I'm too scared to take chances. No $ for repairs if anything goes wrong:o
Could you find/make me a pic and circle what to pull?

Wish i was that talented, but no pic taking stuff here... You know what the acv is, right? the vent hose is the rubber hose, bout an inch or so in diameter coming directly towards the passenger side of the car. I don't think it differed any on the series 4 to series 5 cars... lets see, we have two hoses going into the acv... the vent hose is one of them. The other is the hose from the air pump,,, its real short, maybe 3 inches long. Disconnecting anything from the acv isnt going to hurt anything

Find it yet?

Its just the leftover air from the air pump... it goes into kind of a muffler in your fender so that you can't hear it. Disconnect the hose that goes to the "muffler" and walla, you get funny noises eminating from your acv

Hahahaha, funny meaning indescribable....

Personally, me and all my friends think its great... you might think other wise. If you dont like how it sounds, its not to terribly difficult to put a hose back on

Lol, ight man. Might try it. Well I doubt I will even hear it while driving. I mean with my back-less mufllers I can't hear much right now under WOT. And of course I am always under WOT

Nevermind.
I can't really drive it in any proper fashion now, anyway.
The master+slave cyls decided they would give out again, because of my clutch.
I can't afford to replace it all, so its time to get rid of the car.

I say keep the car... sell everything else first... The master and slave went on mine bout 4 weeks ago, costed me under $50 to fix. Just find a good deal on parts and do the work yourself..
Just my 2 cents

It will need a new master+slave replacement every few miles, until I get a new clutch (!)
And I can't afford a clutch.
So, I have no choice.

Selling a car because you can't afford a clutch?? WTF? Just go work your *** off a few days & Bam! clutch paid for. Well I dunno, I can make enough for a new clutch in 3 hours so whatever. Just depends if I feel like working
