Are ACV interchangeable for the s5 and s4

NA? the S5 has the pickup for the 6 ports, so the whole valve won't work, but you can swap the guts

I have a 91 n/a 5 speed transmission ACV. Im using the ACV guts from a 88 n/a Automatic. Just that weird pink plunger.
everything else works fine. The solenoids work when they should.
I wish there was an easier way to rebuils these Air Control Valves. New acv parts are expensive and hard to find.
