ACV and boost question.
Hey,
Hey, you know where the nipple that leads to the boost sensor (where we tap into to install our aftermarket boost gauges) is? Okay, I went to remove the ACV the other night and put on a backoff plate.(I have the full racing beat exhaust) and I noticed, I think, that the nipple is pard of the ACV. I only looked at it for a few and I thought that was what I saw. Can somebody confirm or correct me. If thats the case where do we go with the boost gauge and sensor? tap into the "T" behind the upper intake manifold?
thanks in advance

There is a nipple on the ACV and another on the upper intake manifold. One goes to the stock blow-off valve, and the other goes to the boost sensor. You can just T them together into that one nipple on the manifold.
Make sure to use brass T's whenever you T a vacuum line - plastic T's can get brittle and snap. Wal-Mart sells brass T's in the aquarium section for 99 cents a pop that look, fit, and work great.

dude, your gonna laugh but...the "t" on the back of the upper intake (betwen the firewall) well...I had a new engine but in and I checked the "t" and it has one end blocked and the other end to what looks like its hooked up to the bleeder for the clutch master cylinder nipple but the hose is worn in a manner to sugest that was where it always was?
what do you think...anyone. where should it go to.

Huh? If there was a vacuum line hooked to the clutch bleeder valve they were on drugs when they put that on there! I have some 89-91 diagrams on my website, http://www.rx7turbo.com/howto.htm if you ever need to check some vacuum lines. It should be pretty close to an 86-88.
Other than that just follow Dale's advice.
