thinking of sellin the 7
alright, I love my car so this is a really tough decision. there is a guy I know that owns a Ducati 996R. I love sportbikes, and this is one sick *** bike. He said he will take my car, and $1000 cash for the bike. If I didnt do this, i was going to wait till I get out of school and get a job, and then mod the living **** out of my car, but I know it still wouldnt be as fast as this bike. Gimme some opinions. the bike is in excellent shape, 4000 miles on on it. I would just hate to get rid of my car, im in love with it and RX-7's in general, that is the only problem.

Man, If you are crazy enough do drive a bike, do it. I personally wouldn't ever own a bike. One no brainer by SOMEONE ELSE on the road and you could be dead. Some people like to live on the edge though.
I think this way because I though about getting a bike before my first fc. Anyways my first fc was totaled when a guy in a Jeep ran a read light. He said his foot slipped off the clutch while sitting at the light. I hit him at 45 mph head on. If I was on I bike I wouldn't be hear right now.
Just thought I should speak for the voice in the back of my head.

I would own a bike, if i had another vehicle. (FC)
Pretend, you have to go to school, it's **** *** weather out...you have to ride in the pouring rain..
Think of all the work you've done on your car. This is the only reason why i dont have a Turbo II, i have spent along time with this car!

ive ridden bikes before, almost bought one instead of a car, but didnt cause it wasnt really convienient. Ducati's are sick *** bikes though. Im not really concerned about safety, i just like the thrill. And The 996R is probably one of the sickest handling bikes out there, behind the new Buell and the new Ducati 999. It's just a tough decision, i really want this bike, but i really want my car too. not only cause its good to have a car, but ive also invested alot into it, and would like to make it even faster.

look up a post called "pics of my interior", or "here are some pics of my car", they were posted by me and the interior pics should be in there. there was one about the custom seats too.

Something is wrong with the bike. Does it have a salvage title? It is really easy to crash/total a bike and buy new plastics to make it look mint. He probably paid $14K for it and he wants to trade it for a 16-year-old car? Ducatis are temperamental beasties. I would not have one as a daily driver. Keep in mind it will cost ~$9K a year to insure without a car. Maintenance will be a joy too.
You can mod the **** out of any car and it will not be as fast as any sportbike. Ducs are not that powerful or rare, but they corner well. If this guy is for real, he can have my modded FC plus a few $K so I can have a sweet track bike.

I am sorry, we can not accept that answer. Your data is corrupted.
