ACV and Air Silencer Hose Pblm
Hi Gang,
First, I searched, but not sure of good keywords. So no luck so far.
I've had my '87TII apart and was going to check the ACV according to Haynes. When I tried to remove the hose going to the Air Silencer, it broke into pieces - too much heat there, I guess.
Anyway, I'm trying to get it started without this hose attached to the output side of the ACV.
When I crank it over, it starts and revs to 2000rpm then immediately dies like I switched it off.
I've searched on the immediate die pblm and have checked all the hoses I disconnected and confirmed that everything is re-connected. So, would the Air Silencer hose being off cause the start/die problem?
THX!
