Ac/tranny smoke

ok so today i was driving any my ac started to have cold white smoke comming out of it kinda like mist looking.. turned my ac off and some hot smoke that smelt funny started comming out of my shift boot..

turned the car off and let it sit at home for a few hours.. drove it for awhile and it was fine.. idk wtf it is...

If the setting was on outside air, try setting the A/C on recirculate to eliminate the vapor.

your talking about your a/c compressor right?

that cold white mist is probably just refrigerant leaking out of your compressor

idk.. it was comming out of the ac vent.. then when i turned it off.. a diffrent hot smoke was comming out of my shift boot..

Well, for one, now you know the shifter boot leaks. But I don't see how smoke from below the car would relate the A/C system, unless it was somehow caused by the compressor. For the white mist, I'd also have to guess it might be refrigerant leaking into the system. If it is, then breathing it in is not going to be good for you.

yeah.. im fucked.. if the gas fumes and exhaust fumes wont get me the ac will...
