AC as supercharger?

okay i was looking at my AC today before i pulled it, would it be possible to use 2 lines one to suck air in and one to put it into the intake to use your AC pump as a supercharger? is the pump able to push air , if so why hasnt anyone done this?

The flow is not enough, same thing with an air pump.

I think the A/C pump is optimized for R-12 refrigerant and might not be optimal for pure air. The air pump would be a more logical choice, but as previously stated it woun't push enough air to make a difference.

i hear that pumping the cold AC air can give you a good 10-15whp.
on a serious note, that would be about as effect full as paying an asmatic to blow through a straw into the intake pipe.

haha, i used to wonder if you pumped the cold a/c air right into your intake if it would increase HP enough to make up for the loss of the A/C in the first place.

I do know better than that, it was just a thought.

you would need to keep it oild and thats pretty much done through the lines. so even if you could hook it up to the intake it would lock up in a bout an hour
