AC problems
i have a 88 vert and im haveing a problem with water dumping onto the passenger side floor..im assuming that its from the ac...has anyone had this problem and if so how did you fix it?
If it's condensate from the AC, there's a rubber tube under the car, just forward of the passenger's side footwell, about the diameter of your index finger, that's the condensate drain. CAREFULLY run a wooden dowel or something similar up the tube to unclog it. Don't get tough with it - You don't want to damage the evaporator inside.

You can unstop the drain in several different ways. Try the following: Set the a/c heater fan to blow at the highest setting. Set the logicon to bring in outside air. Start the car. Have a friend help you and both of you slam the doors at the same exact time. The interior pressure you generate will sometimes blow open the drain. You can also have a third person slam the hatch at the same time.
If this doesn't work, you can snake the drain hose with a soft wire, you can blow into the drain tube with a compressor and an air blower attatchement. You can apply suction to the tube with a shop vac.
You may temporarily unstop the drain with the above methods, but ultimately, you need to open the box around the evaporator and clean it out. It is probably full of leaves and other debris. I have heard tails of dead animals like rats and birds, lizzards etc.
