just want to make sure, the 87 GXL didnt come with ABs did it? damn wish i could remember ****!

Read the faq at the top of the page for standard/optional equipment.

 

To my knowledge the 87 model RX7 did not come with an abs system and there is no write up about the system in the workshop manual.

really??? damn now im all confused! how can i find out if mine does, although i dont see an idiot light for abs. maybe thats a good indication lol

Go hammer on your breaks. If you can lock the wheels you don't have abs.

If you do you've got ABS, if not, then you dont. simple as that.

 

ABS was optional on the 87-88 GXL and Turbo models, and standard on the 89-91 Turbo models.
