About Grounding
I have read all of the threads but want to be really sure since I am not as mechanically adept as some of you.
All I need to ground my car (run better, make more power) is:
2 24" 4 guage battery cables.
I need to ground one from the negative terminal to the strut tower and one from the alternator bolt to the strut tower.
Am I missing anything?
Any other suggestions.
Please help. I am at work now and the Auto Parts store below me has a really heavy duty lookin cable for 7 bux.
I wanna do this soon.

yup that will work the more grounds the better though. make sure you grind off the paint around where you are connecting the grounds. when I put my engine back in Im gonna run grounds from each side of the engine and one from the back just to be safe

ahywhere the entier body of the car is a gorund and the point of grounding the engine is to make it a ground also. the more connectors you have from the engine to the body of the car the better it will be gounded. Just take wires and bolt them on from the engine to the body after the neg on the battrey is connected to the body better

Does this include the tires?

4GA wire is a totally unnecessary waste of money. 8GA is considerebly cheaper and will work fine.
There are also better locations to go to that the strut tower, unless you like the look of spagetti all over your engine bay. There are more discreet location to use that will work just as well and not look like a mess.
Also, there's only so much current that needs to be carried. Adding more and more ground wires isn't going to improve things. Make sure there are a couple of good grounds off the engine (8GA), add one for the battery (8GA) and sort out the ECU, TPS and boost sensor (thin cable is fine).
