able to start car without clutch

able to start car without clutch

I bought a rx7 turbo 2 awhile ago and just started trying piece everything back together, i just wanted to see if hte motor would turn over while starting the car my foot wasn't on the clutch and the motor was trying to start, anyone know what wires they are i am suppose to check or go about checking the safety for it

Some early car, 86-87 did not have a clutch INTERLOCK switch. If you have one it's located at the very top of the clutch pedal with a long pigtail to it's plug that mates with the harness. The wire colors are Black/Red and Black/Green.
