91 Turbo in an 87?

Wondered if it was an interchangable part. Will a 91 Turbo go in an 87 Turbo II? Thanks.

Sounds like it would be easier to just find a 86-88 turbo. Am I right? How much does a used one run?

Depends. The 89+ TIIs are rarer then the '86-'88 TIIs. Price varies widely. I've seen free to $500. About $75-$300 is the normal range.
