91 NA Engine Rebuilt and purty

Finally finished my restore on my 91 NA and dropped the rebuilt engine in place. This is the first rotary I've ever completley rebuilt and much to my surprise, it started right up with no leaks or wierdness. I ended up replacing one rotor and housing because of the broken apex seal. This is how it looks.

Next project to complete is my 90 Turbo. It has a JDM barrel, USDM lower intake and JDM UIM and Throttlebody. I'm going all with USDM and try to restore it back to stock until I run into those parts they don't make anymore. One thing I noticed is that on the bottom and bottom of a USDM Turbo UIM, there is a hose that goes somewhere. Is this the take off for the brake booster? Where does it go, if that's not the case?

On JDM manifolds the brake booster feeds from the Lower intake manifold, not the upper(USDM)

That's what I thought. So where does the hose on the bottom backside of the USDM UIM lead? On JDM LIM's the brake booster is taken off a pipe that is afixed to the LIM via a banjo bolt into the outside of the manifold.

split air pipe? do you have a pic of the hose you are talking about?

That is the brake booster line that the arrow is pointing at.

What seals did you use? How many hours to disassemble/reassemble? That bay picture looks like brand new! Did you follow AaronCake or another video to do the werk? I might be doing this over the winter...

Thanks for both the praise and the input on the brake line. I wasn't sure if it was the booster line or not. Rotary Rabbit, I'm not sure about what seals you're talking about unless you mean the kit I used to rebuild the engine. I got everything from atkins rotary and used their one piece seals vs the two piece. I've seen a lot of pro's and cons discussed about both and after doing some research and considering that I had never revuilt a rotary before, I went with the one piece seals because of the ease of installation. Only putting in one piece vice three pieces in a stock seal. Side seals and all the other stuff is stock. Currentley I'm restoring a 90 T2. I baught the car from a dealership and the body was pretty clean and they told me it had a new engine in it. Proto in San Bernadino BTW. As I was test driving it, I heard a lot of clattering. I was told that it was just Ujoints on the D/S and I figured, that's no big deal. What I didn't know was that it was actually pre detonation. I've had rotary;s for about 15 years and had never heard that sound before. Well, the engine blew about a month after I got it, and they denied any culpability, blah blah blah. Pulled the engine and dismantled. They mixed a JDM barrel, JDM upper intake, USDM lower intake, and a JDM Tbody. The LIM had a huge crack in it and half the lines on the were either capped, or not there. I'm guessing, but I'd say the pre-det came from overly lean mixture because of the lines and crack in the LIM. Another note, folks have said the only difference between a USDM and JDM manifold setup is basically the take off for the brake booster are incorrect. There is a heck of a lot of difference? The T-body is different as well.
So, I'm in the process of restoring it to a stock USDM configuration when I rebuild the engine. Turbo has already been restored as well as the Manifold assembly (as Pictured) The hardest part about redoing the Manifold assembly was making all the gaskets for the USDM ACV. Seems you can't buy them, so you have to maked them. I've also got the engine bay harnesses rehabed, rewrapped, and remarked and I can post pics of those as well.
