Your question has been answered. The simplest problem based on what I have seen is, as previously said, in relating to the failure of the OMP.

Was the wire held to the ground while the key was turned to on?

No need to do that. How about disconnecting the plug to the TPS and check for error codes and see if it gives a code for the TPS to prove the sytem is working properly.

Pulled tps plug off. Still no check engine light! Wtf!. Did the hole cold start to 3k down but wont hold a idle. I can clearly see that omp is not 100% working bc i have clear lines for it. My question now is, could this be a bad ecu?

Just to clarify, the first key position is ACC, second position is On and the last position is Start. Are you sure you are moving the key to the On position or are you mistaken and just turning the key to ACC? Lastly, the Orange wire that is grounded to the negative battery terminal is just a single wire and no other wires in the Green plug.

Do your idiot lights light up w/key to on? 'Most' of them should. If they don't then there's an issue w/the idiot light box/wiring connection.

There is a three wire Green plug near the leading coil that has a Black/White wire and two Yellow based wires. If you make the error code checker used for an S4 you can connect it to this plug to pull codes in the same S4 manner in case your idiot lights are not working properly w/respect to the check engine light (CEL).

Take it to a shop man. I'm sorry, but your threads are always this clueless and you never do any research on your own. You just want everyone to magically tell you what's wrong while you provide little input.

I wasn't tying to insult you, I was telling you the truth. Also, no need to make a threat, you need to take it easy man.
Maybe if you laid off the pot for a bit you could retain some knowledge and build an aptitude. You can download an FSM, go through the troubleshooting and do the tests. Please don't ask me where to get one, if you look here you can be downloading one in less than five minutes. You're lucky Satch has a lot of patience, he's the only one helping you for that reason.

Find the Green plug w/the three wires mentioned and take a voltage reading from the Yellow wire and it should indicate low voltage for three seconds immediately after the key is turned to on and then the voltage changes to 12 volts I believe.

I wanted to update this, my rx7 was having a hesitation problem, like it would feel like it was hitting a wall & backfireing to hell around 3500rpms. Soo off to the shop it goes! Trans needed to be replace anyways, replace with used omp, cleaned & check all grounds. Replaced fuel filter, NO Check engine light!!!! My mechanic is saying fried ecu. So now im getting ecu. Any other ideas
