Did you 'physically' check for codes or did you just turn the key to on to check for codes?

To check for codes all you have to do is find the Green check connector near the leading coil which has a single Orange wire. Ground this wire and w/key to on if there are any codes then they will be displayed. I rather doubt the business you took your car to knows how to pull codes as the method for doing so on your car does not match the method used on newer cars, which they are familiar with as it uses a completely different system. Physically checking for codes takes all but a minute or two to do and it would be suggested for you to spend these two minutes at most.

Display of codes?? How do i know what code goes to what?
|
|
possibly an OMP failure and going into limp mode? no check engine lights? does it only do it when its warmed up or right from a cold start? if you pull the codes and code 26 or 27 come up, you need to change pumps or start running premix

How would long are the flashes usually? Like an "long flash" ... 5? ,10 sec? 1min? How long is a "short flash"?
|
A short flash is very quick and the longer flashes take longer. If you have a long flash followed by quick flashes then there will be a pause between the long flash and the short flash(es). Watch the vid for exercise.

Warm up or cold? Doesnt matter?

error codes - YouTube |
Oh Boy!!!!!!!!!!!!! It shows one long flash followed by two quick flashes which is a code 12. Then there is a pause then one long flash followed by a pause then seven quick flashes which is a code 17. Then a pause folllowed by one long flash, a pause, then 8 quick flashes which is a code 18. Then the whole process repeats one more time thus showing a 12,17 and 18 error codes.
