89 jap import s5 with horn noise coming from engine when driving hard in 1st, 2nd

It happens on 80-100% throttle when im giving 1st and 2nd gears some stick, and sometimes in 3rd. just wondering what it is. at first i thought it was a loose connection on my horn but it never happens over bumps just when driving hard, and also its a different pitch than my horn. could it possibly be my wastegate meaning im having boost spikes???

any help would be greately appreciated.

lol no. but i do love that thing. it is almost as if someone is tapping the horn, it only makes the sound for a fraction of a second, and u can feel it through the peddles and gear stick slightly.

Maybe I missed it, maybe not. Auto or stick?

is it a horn sound exactly. Or a whining sound?

Only in 1st and 2nd?

I know your post says gears stick slightly, but I know this can happen on auto's too. Trouble shifting between gears.

Its a manual, and i would say defenatly a horn sound or horn/tick. but its not shifting gears its just when i put my foot down it honks once or twice before it redlines. it happens occasionally in third but more common in 2nd and 1st

Is the dump pipe from the ACV hooked up to the silencer under the stock air cleaner?
