The trick- which time and experience will teach- is knowing ahead of time that that's how it's going to be and just slogging through it.
Most of the work is boring and pedestrian, punctuated by moments of sheer frustration and hopelessness.
You will make mistakes, components will be uncooperative, you'll discover flaws you weren't expecting...it's all just part of the game.

Every problem solved, every disaster averted, every clever solution applied...they are all steps forward and every step counts.
If you look back and appreciate all you've accomplished, the road remaining doesn't look so bad.

Probably the most valuable tool in the box is patience.
Learn to walk away and consider your predicament, it doesn't have to be solved/fixed right this second, a better approach will arise.
