89-92 VDI manifold on 86-88?

Hey all. I was wondering if anyone knew if you could put an Intake manifold from a 89-91N/A on a 86-88N/A. And would it give you close to the 20 or so HP more that those years had. Do you have to change ECU's or anything else, or is it just a direct swap. Thanks.

you have to either remove or move your EGR valve, move 2 (i think) solenoids, and do some minor grinding, and you also need a rpm activated solenoid (~$50), someone has a write up on this somewhere, just got to find it
