88 Vert starts a runs, but cuts out at 2k. This is a friend's vert.

Anyone know some possible ailments? This has happened before, and the fuel filter has been changed.

i think i figured out what happened, i have a bad connection at my maf where the thing plugs into the harness, oh and btw what are all these unconnected wires for, they are everywhere?
