TX 88 Turbo II Rearend

I have a 1988 Turbo II car. I broke a stub shaft and I have been looking for another one but apparently the one I have are pretty hard to find.

What I'm needing to know is will a rear end out of a 87 Turbo II car work in my 88?

I have a set of stub shafts from an 87 TII car, will they work with my rearend and just change the 1/2 shafts since the stub for the 1987 is a little longer. Both shafts measure 4 1/2" from the flang to the end of the shaft.

The stub my rear end uses is on the right and the spare 87 Stubs I have are on the left.

Well, I said the hell with it and tried and they fit. I have between a 1/4 to 3/8's slack between they stub and 1/2 shafts when the car is on the ground. Had my brother bounce on the car and it was not bottoming out.
