Angry 88 S4 N/A-Am I Not Getting Enough Spark

I got back up and running, starting right up and running a little rough till she warmed up. I connected a timing light to check the timing and now she won't start up, tries, but will not start. It seems that the trailing coil is weak as there was not much soot on the trailing plugs as compared to the leading plugs. I have an extra coil and swapped it out and did not solve the problem. I also cleaned the connectors and made sure to the best of my ability that it is grounded properly. Any Ideas?

What connectors were specifically cleaned?

The two that come out of the coil and connect below it. One of them was a two prong the other had four. Also, when she was running I would get just a little backfire and had some loss of power which perhaps could be caused by improper firing. I even swapped out another coil i had on hand.

If you have no residue on the trailing plugs it could also be caused by a lack of fuel. If you had spark but no fuel then there would be no reason to find residue on the plugs.

That is true. I put in a new fuel pump. The next step on that is to do a complete fuel pressure check. Also, my MAP sensor seems to be be acting up, perhaps to the possible fuel issue. That part #327 that goes on the shock tower with the four prong connector. I can pull the connector and play with it and she will smooth out for a few seconds (when running). I did put a new vacuum line on that a while back.
