The fact that there are 2 part numbers for S4 fuel injectors means nothing I suppose?
86-87.5 : N326-13-250 low impedance S4 N/A
87.5-88 : N327-13-250 high impedance S4 N/A
And doesn't your 88 not having the RP prove my point?
You can argue as much as you want. You're wrong.

From the second gen FAQ:
What size injectors does my RX-7 use? What colour are they?

86-87 13B NA, low square center, 460cc, red, 195500-1350
86-87 13B Turbo, low square center, 550cc, tan, 195500-1370
88 13B NA, high square offset, 460cc, purple, 195500-1350

...
even if the resistor pack was removed the wires would have had to of been jumpered otherwise the ECU would not trigger them. removing the resistor pack without anything else and installing high impedence injectors would still result in a non running car.
if the engine is still turning slow check your oil level and turn the engine by hand with the key off, it should be relatively easy to turn by hand. if it does then you have either a bad ground wire or power wire from the battery to the starter. make sure the ground strap is installed on the starter or on the bellhousing bolt under the oil filter and that it is clean and tight on the engine and battery.
'88 cars and beyond were the only ones to not have the resistor pack, but it sounds like that issue is resolved so we can stop arguing about it..

Thank you all for the help, I really appreciate it! I have figured out my wiring issue although the car still is not running. I assume my injectors are stuck open, but I'll look into that. The car is flooded. If you have any thoughts they'd be much appreciated, if not thanks anyway!
