quick question. going to be doing an na to TII swap soon. I have the drivetrain in my car besides the longblock. if i go jspec what should i do for harness and ecu? I read some where the turbo and na harness are the same besides the plug for the knock sensor. is that correct? i have an s5 if that matters.

Wrong. You will need the matching TII harness and ECU. If you do the swap, get an S5 TII engine with harness and ECU. You may be able to skirt past with a vert ECU but that's hit or miss. Some of the vert ECUs double as TII ECUs...

We are answering your questions. In fact, i'm sure I answered all of your questions and gave you my opinion on what you should probably do. I'm no guru but, no offense man, I don't think you've done enough research on the swap or modifying a rotary.

All of my posts were suggestions and warnings. I did not tell you that you had to do things a specific way. I just tried to say that there is a general path that is good to take and to do some research to figure out what is best for you.

If you don't want people to tell you what to do when you ask a question, then don't post. Easy as that.

Like I said before though...No offense, man...just my opinion...

Posts like this WILL get you banned, the moderators are going to shut this thread down. You are getting way too worked up, funkspectrum was basically the only person atttempting to help you out. Like I said Don't make enemies right out of the box, You have pulled enough motors and placed enough, to get this done without help. We are going to need help when it comes to the tuning of the motor, proper boost levels and wiring in a standalone one day..

If you and I can get a 2nd gen 13b into a first gen with no-problems we can do a direct bolt in install...

Are you going to order your motor mounts this week? You need to get new ones, as we broke that one yesteday, try autozone then the dealer...
