88 GTU has four or single piston brake in front?

Wanna double check that I buy the correct pads for my 1988 GTU. Can anyone tell me if I have 4 or single piston brakes in the front? Thanks

You most likely have four piston front calipers, but you should check before buying pads. If it's aluminum body with fins, than it's a four piston caliper. If it's steel body without fins, than it's a single piston caliper.

The '88 GTU was a sport model (similar to the '86 Sport). It had performance brakes (4-piston fixed calipers up front), sport suspension and LSD are a few features that come to mind.
