'87 turbo II engine engine swap

I have a '87 tII engine w8k but bad water seal. I have a line on a new not rebuilt engine does any one now if my motor is a four port or six and does it have to have a lower compression to handle a turbo? Thanks

all TII engines are four port (stock anyway), and are lower compression than their NA brethren

UH...

You already know it is a turbo engine. Yet you ask if it has low compression (ratio) to "handle a turbo"?!

Refer to my avatar for the expression I have right now.

But...it still makes no sense. IF the motor is advertised for 87-88 turbo, then unless the seller is a dumbass it is going to be identical to what you have. I dont think you did a good job phrasing the question.
