I got a 87 turbo II for a project car about a month and last week was on the way home which is about 3 hrs away from where live now. On the way home the car started to spudder out and quit runing. It seem as if i had run out of gas and would start but had plenty of gas. So i towed it home. So i finely got it to start but is runin real crapy and has a real bad smell of raw feul. I replaced the plugs and cleaned the sock on the pump. Its getting way to much feul and seems to be fowling plugs. Any ideas of what would cause this? or could be wrong?

Change the filter, try and move the flapper on the afm by hand a little and see if that helps.

How old is the filter?

 

the fuel filter is fairly new according to who i bought it from

 

does it smoke bad???

 

does smoke a little but the worst thing is the smell of raw fuel

 

Pulsation Dampener in a bad way? Wouldn't explain fouling injectors though...
