I was working on my car once and i ended up braking the water temp sensor ,on the thermostat housing ,on accident.

I didnt know it was soo important as i was a newb back then. But i went almost a week trying to figure out why my **** kept cranking but never started.

SO i finally decide to get the damn temp sensor. and she started right up!!

Make sure the water temp sensor had a clip in good shape and tight.

Yes OEM dude.

Just go to auto parts store and tell them your year and model .. its that easy...

You can take your old one off and take it with your to be sure they give your the right one.

Who knows how many times those idiots game me the wrong part.

Do what rotaryrocket88 said. You're sure you have spark, on all 4 plugs - ok. Now do what he said about the fuel pump test connector, yellow plug, near the AFM. Next time she doesn't start, connect the two pins, turn ignition on, and listen for the fuel pump whining and fuel rushing inside the fuel rails. GL! Fuel pump check connector can be found in my thread with pictures (search "sensor pictures reference" with my name pfsantos under advanced search). It's in there. The above test will show fuel pump and circuit opening relays are working and maybe would have saved you time messing with the fuel pump.

Issue was solved in this second thread: https://www.rx7club.com/2nd-generation-specific-1986-1992-17/wont-fire-up-852056/#post9363506. One of the ECU plugs wasn't in all of the way or something. If it was plug #3, none of the injectors would have been powered.
