87 T2 Issues

Romping on it and the turbo spools real fast up to about 5500 to 6000 then it stops spooling, RPMs slow down, but they still climb, just slower the car starts lunging forward a bit off and on. Thats 2nd Gear, it keeps on happening earlier and earler in the rest of the gears

65001st
5500 - 6000 2nd
5500 3rd
5000 4th

those are the times when it feels like the turbo stops spooling

could it be from not getting enough fuel, or is this the boost cut on the turbo?

you are just maxing out the airflow probably... you would know fuel cut...

a downpipe / midpipe would help alot. but then you will hit fuel cut

Your sig sais a 13.6 on stock turbo Chris, Hybrid or BONE stock? because my goal is to go as fast as possible on the stock turbo, but i will mod the turbo, clip the fans, port it and so on, i wanna try and break low 12's...

Okay, well i guess i'll look into downpipes now then.

And I got a new question, i'm trying to hook up my Greddy Boost Guage. I have the stock fuel system still. Is the fuel Pressure Regulator the thing above the Turbos heat shield? towards the back of the motor? I wasent sure, hooking this thing up seems sorta odd.
