'87 SE Starting issue
I have had some issues with starting my car and ESPECIALLY on a steep upward hill. It'll turn over on the 2nd to 4th revolution and sometimes it will stumble and then flood. I have to go through the flood start procedure (pull fuel injector fuse and crank with throttle open full for 20-30sec) and then it'll start but the tach will stop working and it beeps at me whenever I move.
I have to turn off the car and then restart it to get my tach back and no error beeps. Also my car only does the cold start where it revs to 3k once in a blue moon. Most times it just surges until it gets warmed up.
Any suggestions are appreciated. I am starting to think it is a fuel issue because it is already running a little rich and I can smell fuel at high RPM's, say 6700+
Thank you. ~Doc
