87 less reliable then others??

I heard that the 1987 RX7's are less reliable then the later years, is this true?

who fed you that spoon of ****? if anything i'd think the 86's might be a tad "less reliable" as it was the first year of the 2nd gen rx7, but i think they're all pretty much the same...

86 and 91 models had more issues than other years, but no the 87 is no less reliable than a 88, 89 or 90.

I've had an 2 86's and now I have an 88. My verdict is that in 86 they were still learning how to solder their circuits together. But they seem to have used a more expensive solder in 88.
