tranny fill question

tranny fill question
hey what up. got a question put my engine and everything back in then i went to go fill up the tranny. how in the **** do you do it i had to run a hose down into the fill hole and wait like 30min while the bitch filled up there got to be a easier way rite? and how many quarts is it supposed to have? thanks ---David---
