720cc secondaries control
Can I run 720cc secondaries on my s5 motor with just a fuel controller to adjust afr. I have an innovate wideband to help suss it out. Or do i need to go full stand alone ecu. Installing a deatschwerks 300 has an fd pump currently. Have a tomei reg. 3" exhaust to 2.5" y. Greddy style front mount kit. Hks bov. No emissions. Turbosmart manual boost controller. Boost cut defender. Thats about it i think. Need to pull off turbo and port gate. Want to run 10 - maybe 12psi. If any of this info matters

Rtek 1.7, you don't need a fcd. Also pulls 1 deg of timing above 9psi.

with the stock ECU you need to be careful that you don't run too much boost, as the timing starts to become aggressive. it also runs out of fuel, hence the injectors.
2x720 works ok, and here is why.
the car had 200hp stock, and with a 3" exhaust and IC you have probably added 50 more HP, which is around 20%.
2x550 and 2x720 injectors are only 11% bigger than 4x550's.
so net/net is that you dont need much to control the larger injectors, in fact you may not need anything.
i ran a similar combo a few years ago, and it was a little rich but ok. i used Fcon+GCC to control it, and i wasn't really even using either one, Fcon was on like 1, and GCC was flat, next step was going to be a T4 but someone offered me a lot of money for the car....

I'll have to check the ecu when I get home can't remember off hand other that it's the s4 ecu for the car but mines the s4 with high impedence injectors if that helps. But good to know. Thought the Rtek was s5 only for some reason.
