720cc injector question

I am about to get some bigger injectors(720cc) for my secondaries. I was wondering if I need any o-rings or if they come with or what. Thanks.

Probably. You need a way to tune them for your car to run right. What kind of car do you have and with what mods?

New injectors probaby come with the grommets and "O" rings etc. Even the 720's from RC come with new stuff. If your buying them off of a private seller then you will need to replace them. I can't remember off hand but I don't think they're expensive.

i have an 87 T2. i was thinking that my walbro would pump too much fuel to those 720s and make me run crazy rich. agree?

Did you read my previous post? No one can tell you how your going to run without knowing your mods. You need a fuel controller of some sort for it to run its best.

The GReddy fuel injectors come with no o-rings or grommets that I know of.&nbsp You need to order the top (insulation) grommet, o-ring, and lower (sealing) grommet from the Mazda dealer.

You will run very rich probably if you don't have a way to control them.

I wish. It is the cheap alternative really. You should get one before you get the larger injectors. All my stuff will be coming in very soon.

They're drop-in. The GSL-SE's have 680cc's, some people say some have 720s too though.

The 12a Turbo 1st gen cars in Japan had 720cc injectors stock - the GSL-SE's had 680cc injectors.

The Greddy injectors are an easy way to go - exact drop in and reasonably priced. Like Ted said, you will need the O-rings and grommets from Mazda or maybe from a local parts store, but they aren't too pricey.

I've been trying to find a source for less expensive 720's that go in like stock - PrecisionTE has Delphi 720cc injectors for about $60 some bucks a pop, but I've seen them in person and they won't work without quite a lot of head scratching.

Dude, if a Super-AFC is out of your price range, reconsider modding your car.

On the HKS Super-AFR, it does seem like a powerful unit, but it's like most of HKS's current lineup - about 5 years out of date. The Super-AFC has tons more features.

So just ask for o-rings and grommets for 2 injectors right? They use the same as stock, correct? Thanks.

Yep, just like the stock ones. You could, in theory, re-use the stock ones off your injectors, but they're most likely not reusable.
